Is it possible to encrypt an existing database that was created without encryption using the ChangeEncryptionKey function? Thanks. Timothy Dean |

Yes. ChangeEncryptionKey will encrypt a database not already encrypted. You can't go the other way though - you can't decrypt a database by changing the key. - Tim "Timothy Dean" <tim.dean (AT) mobiledataforce (DOT) com> wrote in message news:45d20e1c$1 (AT) forums-1-dub (DOT) .. Is there a way to do the same thing with obfuscation? Can a database that was originally created without obfuscation be obfuscated? If so, what function would I use? Thanks.
