Default CTLIB failure with ssremote scanning TL into stable queue after schema change - 12-22-2004 , 08:24 AM






We have a conso db on ASE 12.5 and 5 remotes on ASA802
1) We added one column in 3 replicated tables on both conso and remotes
2) new cols are updated on the conso
3) when we launch ssremote, it says "scanning transaction log into stable
queue (chunk 1...174)" then it fails with following messages :

E. 12/22 11:13:20. Error 2403: WARNING! Some character(s) could not be
converted into client's character set. Unconverted bytes were changed to
question marks ('?').

E. 12/22 11:13:22. CTLIB Failure 0401051C: ct_fetch(): protocol specific
layer: external error: There is a tds protocol error. An illegal token was
received.
E. 12/22 11:13:24. CTLIB Failure 01010132: ct_command(): user api layer:
external error: The connection has been marked dead.
E. 12/22 11:13:24. Sending messages failed
E. 12/22 11:13:27. CTLIB Failure 01010132: ct_cancel(): user api layer:
external error: The connection has been marked dead.
E. 12/22 11:13:28. CTLIB Failure 01010132: ct_cmd_drop(): user api layer:
external error: The connection has been marked dead.
I. 12/22 11:13:29. Execution completed


Applying messages from the remotes works properly with ssremote option -r.

Any idea ?
