Default SIS DBLSN.exe - Why no TCPIP listener? - 02-13-2006 , 10:46 AM

ASA 9.0.2.3044

How come TCPIP wasn't an option when the dblsn was created.
Only SMS and UDP are the only options it seems. In our
environment, we have 1800 sites, with about 200 on dial-up
phone line connections. Neither SMS or UDP are having much
consistent success for the most part getting through, so I
ended up having to create my own TCPIP listener to help
ensure it gets through.

Any plans on introducing TCPIP in future release/patch/ebf?

Yes, we have significantly enhanced the SIS architecture for our next
major release, Jasper.

Beta begins roughly in the April time frame, but that could always
change.
