Default dbmlsync with -x option - 04-02-2010 , 09:30 AM

Hi all.

I use dbmlsync with -x option to synchronize data within remote and
consolidated ASA databases (10 or 11 version is indifferent).

The -x option prevent log file from growing...the log file after
successful synchronization is renamed and restarted.
The -x option creates backup log file (named XXXXXX.log). These files
take up space on memory card of the palm.

If I delete only these backup log files (not the .rid file) from
memory card and sincronize next time, I give an offset error during
mobilink sinchronization.

How can I delete these files, without breaking the timing and offset
information for subsequent synchronizations?

thanks in advance
Donato
