Default ODBC - Memory Allocation Failure - in German: Speicherzuordnungsfehler - 04-18-2008 , 03:57 AM

Hello,

we are using SQL Anywhere 9.0.2.3476 and ODBC for connecting to Database
with a java persistenz framework. Sometimes, not often, but mostly not
in the right moment ;-( the odbc makes problems with the following message:

in German: [Sybase][ODBC]Speicherzuordnungsfehler

i think in english it is called: Memory Allocation Failure

What can be the reason for those failures? What can we do beside of
installing the newest EBF?

best regards

Andreas

Is this happening at the same point in your code?
Show us the code that is causing this.

Are you using the iAnywhere JDBC-ODBC driver, the Sun ODBC driver?

I would always suggest trying with the current EBF on a test machine to
see if the problem may have already been fixed.
