Default validate database - 11-25-2009 , 02:26 AM

Hi,

validating an ASA 9.0.2 database I get

Run time SQL error -- row count in SYSTABLE incorrect.

Is there any chance to repair this database? This is a remote
database of a synchronization so I need to do the Upload
after the repair.

TIA

Hi Chris,

Is this validation happening with or without other users connected to
the database?

In general, there won't be a lot you can do on your own aside from
possibly going to a valid backup and applying the transaction log to
bring you up to date.

We also might be able to salvage this as a paid engagement from a
technical support case: http://www.sybase.com/contactus/support/

Make sure you keep a copy of the transaction log so you can translate
that back to SQL and apply it to the consolidated if you can't bring the
remote back without resetting the synchronization.

Regards,
