We need to upgrade several 5.5.04 databases to a higher
version preferably the latest. We managed to access the data
using ISQL V9 but cannot find how to upgrade the databse to
any version past V6. Any and all suggestions will be
appreciated.

If you are looking to go to the latest version, that is 11.0.1. SQL
Anywhere 9 end of life is Jan 31,2010 so moving to that version may not
be be best choice.

You will want to rebuild the database. This can be done in Sybase
Central Unload database utility wizard or from the command line using
dbunload.
