Version: SQL Anywhere 11.0.1.2044 Platform: Mac OS X 10.6.2 I am running into the error 'Unable to load libodbc.dylib' whenever I try to specify a ODBC data source name from the Connection dialog box within Sybase Central. I would be able to workaround this problem but I am trying to set up a Mobilink synchronization model using the wizard and when specifying the odbc dsn I run into the same problem. I'd really like to avoid having to do it by hand if possible. The steps that I am doing to recreate the issue are: - Open Terminal - navigate to ../Applications/SQLAnywhere11/System/bin64 (also tried bin32) - run command: source sa_config.sh - run command: scjview - In Sybase Central go to Connections -> Connect With SQL Anywhere 11... - Select the ODBC Data Source name radio button - Type in anything into the text box ('test') underneath and hit ok. - The error Unable to load libodbc.dylib will appear. - Terminal reveals this error: Unable to load 'libodbc.dylib' errno=2 (Which I think means file not found?) I checked /usr/lib as well as ../Applications/SQLAnywher11/System/ lib64 (and lib32) and this file is not there. I dont run into any problems actually creating the dsn through ODBC Administrator of iODBC, it is just when trying to connect using it. Any help appreciated. Thanks in advance, - Jordan |
