Duration 9 - 12 months can go to 18 months

Responsible for administering data bases, including definition,
organization, documentation, long-term requirements planning and
operational guidelines. Under general supervision, designs,
implements, and maintains moderately complex databases. Includes
maintenance of database dictionaries and integration of systems
through database design. Competent to work on most phases of database
administration, but may require some instruction and guidance in other
phases.

Required Skill Set:

Sybase 12.5
Partitioning |
Backup and Recovery
Nice to have skills:

PERL
MSSQL
Oracle
DB/2
Ideally, they would like to see full-time candidates. However, because
these are in such demand they will consider contractors. If we present
contractors they will need to possess an additional DBA flavor (i.e.
DB2, SQL Server, etc.)...
