sorry to bug again but I have some more information on my
problem. I have installed Sybase SQL Anywhere 8 (Licensed
version 1server+4clients) on a WinXP Professional Sp2
computer with 2 disks in mirror configuration. There was a
trial version of sybase on this computer that I didn't
uninstall. The installation didn't give me any error
messages but Sybase Central simply won't start. I tried with
scjview.exe and scjview.exe -nojit but nothing. By the way,
in a computer where everything works well (same so, same
procedure), I can find a file SCVIEW.EXE-068B8508.pf that is
not present on the problematic computer. I don't think it is
a java problem, because there was no java machine in the
computer before sybase!
Help! What else can I try?
In alternative, can I create a service by command line? I
