Hello!

We are still having issues with 64-bit SC and not with 32-bit SC when
reloading a database.

I just need this question answered.

Is the 64-bit BUILD of the same code-base as the 32-bit BUILD???

Meaning, if a fix was recorded in the X86 (32-bit) build about 2 months ago
in an EBF, would there be any reason why it is not in the 64-bit version?

A bug we reported, shown as fixed, shows as fix on my computer (32-bit), but
not on my Support Manager's computer (64-bit) ... I can do the exact same
Unload/Reload of the same database of the same V11.01 Sybase 32-bit on my
machine, but she can't do it on her machine (64-bit) of the same exact
database and sequence.

Yes the same code is used in both cases, unless for some reason it is
not platform specific.

Are you sure that the problem is the result of the same issue and not
some other cause? The first problem dealt specifically with the source
database being a backup image which required 'recovery' prior to the
start of the upgrade process.

Hi,

I need to go through it again.

We have a non OEM database (9.02) that was part of a BACKUP command (BACKUP
DATABASE).

We have two systems (both WIN7, one using Sybase 11.01 32 and one using 64)

We took this database and placed it in c:\ on both computers.

I can (on my 32-bit), select Unload/Reload, put in the
username/password/encryption key, and it goes about its business and
unloads/reloads it.

On the 64-bit, do this and it says "FAILED" with no other reason or cause.

I am unable to reproduce this issue in SA11 running on Win7 64 bit.

Can you double-check the dialog that is displayed and more specifically
scroll through the text display above the "Status" line for any errors
or other relevant messages that might help us with this issue.

If there no messages, my advice is to discuss this with support. They
can work with you to determine the missing piece needed to reproduce the
behaviour.
