Default Support for PDO in php ? - 11-11-2009 , 04:43 AM

Hello,

we actually use SQL Anywhere mostly in java projects.

One of our clients however uses PHP as environment and looks into using
a php framework in the future.

The framework requires the usage of PDO for the database storage.
Actually there is no pdo driver for SQL Aynwhere available.

What could perhaps work are the MS_SQL driver, or then the ODBC driver.

Does anyone have experience with PDO and SQL Aynwhere ?

Actually we use SQL Anywhere 10, but it could be upgraded if required.

Thanks

André

I would expect the PDO ODBC driver to work well.

Hi André,

did you have a chance to try the PDO ODBC driver?
Can you share your experience with it so far?

Thanks,
Lorenzo
