Default SQLAnywhere and .NET Entity Data Model - 10-15-2009 , 09:21 AM

Using Sybase 11.1.0.2044.

I have an application using an EDM for the data layer.

The application runs fine on my development box.

It runs fine on a standard user workstaiton if I do a full insall of
Sybase 11. However, if I create the install using the Deploy SQL
Anywhere for Windows wizard, install it, and then run the app I get
the following error:
"The store provider factory type
'iAnywhere.Data.SQLAnywhere.SAFactory' does not implement the
IServiceProvider interface. Use a store provider that implements this
interface.

How do I fix this? I don't want to do full installs of Sybase on all
the workstations that need to run this app (not to mention; I'm fairly
certain that our license agreement doesn't allow that :-) ).

I believe there is a newer version of Sql anywhere. at very least try
updating and deploy from there.

Failing that
you will have to find the Sybase .net sql provider dll and then try if
copy and register on target machine will work.
