Hello I would appreciate a little advice here. I am running SQL Anywhere 9 as a service it was running quite happily until @ 14:00 yesterday the service stalled (failed to restart) I have re-booted the server (No change) I have un-installed and re-installed SQL Anywhere 9 (No Change) I deleted the service and tried to recreate it resulting in the following error message "failed to read/open %database path%\database.db" Has anyone else come across this issue The database it is running is fine (tested on another server using the same service parameters) therefore it should be able to read and open the DB file My next step complete un-install followed by a registry hunt to ensure there are no registry entries that are left behind and a re-install Any help would be greatly appreciated |
