Default SA 11 - Changing from Developer Edition to Enterprise Edition - 09-02-2009 , 11:58 AM

Hello,

we tested the SA 11.0.1.2276 with the developer edition to our satisfaction.

Next we want to change it to an enterprise edition (without reinstalling)!
We have a valid License Key for the enterprise edition .

Your help would be very much appreciated.

Kind regards
Peter

Peter,

Typically you need to reinstall, however a trick you can do is to
install on a different machine and then copy all the *.lic files from
the bin32 folder to the developer installation. These files control the
version that SQL Anywhere behaves as, so by overwriting the developer
license files with the enterprise license files you can achieve the same
result as reinstalling (assuming all the same components were chosen to
be installed.

Thanks
