I am running Windows 2003 Server with both 8.03 and 9.02 installed. I have two services installed (called 8Sybase and 9Sybase) The parameters are set so that they both have the following: -x tcpip(MyIP=192.168.0.3) However as I want them both to be able to start with no problems on automatic, I wish to set these to have specific ports first 2638, and 2639 for the other. I have tried to enter as follows: -x tcpip(MyIP=192.168.0.3:2639) but the service will not start. Should this be entered this way or should I be looking at another route. |

Hi Dustin, Try this: -x tcpip(MyIP=192.168.0.3;ServerPort=2638) The ServerPort parameter should allow you to accomplish want you want to do. Also, see here for a list of available parameters and their functions: http://www.ianywhere.com/developer/p...9/00000264.htm Thanks Kory Hodgson Sybase iAnywhere Dustin Bird wrote: I am running Windows 2003 Server with both 8.03 and 9.02 installed.
