Hi Doug,
From a brief look at the files (not an in-depth analysis - for that,
you should open a technical support case), it seems as if the server is
being started as a service and it's crashing on start-up with an 'Access
Violation' on Windows 2000 SP4. Is that correct?
Can you please post:
1. The command-line of the server
2. The server's output log (-z -o console.txt) from these service start
attempts
3. The definition of the service that is being run (Is it under a user
account or LOCAL SYSTEM? Is Interact with Desktop turned on?)
4. What happens if you attempt to start the server from just the
command-line?
5. Where is the database file located? On a local hard drive...?
Also, notably this is on 10.0.1 GA. Trying a later EBF might be an idea
as well to prevent the crash.
