Hi Philip,

There are a few ways to control the size of the SA Monitor's stored
historical data.

On the same page in the web interface where you define the backup
location of the SA Monitor, there are additional options for controlling
the amount of historical data kept by the SA Monitor.

(Specifically, the page I'm talking about can be found at Administration
-> Configuration -> Edit -> Maintenance)

Under the "Data Reduction" heading there are options for averaging
and/or deleting older metrics to save space. If you want to ensure the
size of the SA Monitor's stored historical data doesn't exceed a given
amount, there is also an option to set a hard limit on the amount of
space the SA Monitor is allowed to use (the default is 1 GB).

Hope this helps,

I see the DB size is 1 Gb. Is there a way to control that size ?
The backups of samonitor.db are defined thru the web interface, but is
there a way to validate the samonitor database?

Thanks

Philip
