Hello, Sybase is still not using proper folders in Windows Vista and Windows 7 ... even Version 11, and I'm still wondering why this is not made a priority. Is there a ticket already in to fix this issue ... and what's the issue with not fixing it? On Windows 7, the following files are created in my Home Group. This group should only contain simple folders like "Contacts, Desktop, Downloads, Favorites, My Documents, etc." Sybase seems to be the only problem. .DBConsole11 .isqlHistory11 .isqlPreferences11 .jlogon11 .SybaseCentralEditor600 These files should follow the standard where Microsoft wants you to put these things. In the ProgramData or AppData folders! I delete them, they reappear. I try to hide them, and Sybase Central complains. Microsoft clearly wants vendors to use AppData and ProgramData, it seems like I find these folders sometimes on my Z: drive (server root) or in this directory. -Robert |
