Yes, ASA, Ultralite, and MobiLink are all included in the SQLAnywhere package.

If you are using SQLAnywhere 9, you can download a free developer edition
from the iAnywhere web site that can get you started.

As for pricing, Sybase Sales _are_ the best people to answer that
question. :-)

I was looking to go from Oracle consolidated server to a
database on Pocket PC using Mobile Link. I understand I can
use either UL or AS on the Pocket PC.

What would I have to buy/license to do this?
Sales said I would buy
sql studio anywhere $400
add $100 for every client (I assumed this is named client)

Is that true whether I am using UL or AS on the remote?

They said to ask TS this question via the newgroup

Well, I hope they are ... I still don't understand licensing ...

What is the difference betweent 10-user-workgroup server and 10 concurrent users server?

What means site versus concurrent ...

Up to today, I have never understood what product I must buy ...

What I need is about 10 simultaneous connections from the same machine and about 5 simultaneous connections form different machines ...

Anyway, all those terms and wordings ...

I think Sybase should make the licensing MUCH MORE undeerstandable for dummies like me.
