Default Question about SQLAnwhere 11.0.1.2044 - 08-31-2009 , 06:28 AM

Hello all...I was using ISQL and executing a few SELECT
queries. My question is: when I execute a query in the ISQL
environment that has a column name which is a reserved word
in SA 11, will I always have to put that column in double
quotes?. Currently, if I do not, I receive an syntax
run-time error in ISQL.

Any info would be greatly appreciated

Mark,

Yes, you should always use double quotes when you have a column name
that is a reserved word. Even better would be to avoid using reserved
words, however I know this might not always be possible if you have an
existing system.

The NON_KEYWORDS option may help.
