I'm trying to upgrade a Windows 2000 server. All service packs and updates applied on the OS. Currently have the base version of SQL Anywhere 11.0.1 installed on the server. During the update process, the following error occurred. -------------------------------------------------- SQL Anywhere 11 Error 1304. Error writing to file iAnywhere.QAnywhere.Client.dll. Verify that you have access to that directory. Retry and Cancel are my options. -------------------------------------------------- Retry kept throwing the same error. Cancel rolled the whole update back. I checked the directory. This file already exists on the machine. No problems getting to it. Security settings look correct. Not sure I could have installed the base 11.0 install, and then apply the 11.0.1 maintenance patch if the security settings were incorrect. Anybody have any ideas before I put this up on Case Express? TIA Jeff Gibson Intercept Solutions - Sybase SQL Anywhere OEM Partner Nashville, TN |

Try downloading listdlls from http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/s.../bb896656.aspx, install and then execute : listdlls > list.txt Look in list.txt for an occurence of iAnywhere.QAnywhere.Client.dll, and see what process is using it. |
