That's correct. There is no support for Windows 95/98/ME any more.

Support for ASA 7 clients may be somewhat limiting since some
of the newer features and stronger encryption will not be available.
As to stability of this combination about the most that can be said
is that it may work. Officially
"SQL Anywhere 10 database servers support connections from client
applications using software from version 6.0.0 or later."
so that part may be okay. I would have the 7.0.4 maintenance
release and the last ebfs for that platform handy myself.
Of course no vendor is actively fixing/supporting either Windows 9x/me
or ASA 6/7/8 so if anything goes wrong the OS may need to be upgraded
or swapped with one that is current [Linux is one possibility if that
works].
