Hi,

is it possible to influence the value which is displayed as max_steps in the
syscolstat view?

I have a table with a varchar column containing 9 Mio nearly unique values
maxsteps displays 200 for this column.

Does anyone know a way how to display the histogram for a varchar column
I can use the estimate function to display the estimated percentage for a
specific value, but how to display the whole histogram?

background of my question is that I have had a time during which SQL
anywhere estimated a coverage of 10% for a single value match inside the
above mentioned column
