Default ODBC create in Windows 7 - 01-28-2010 , 08:07 AM

We are running SQL Anywhere 10, version 10.0.1.3722 on a
Windows 7 machine. Everything looks fine except that we
can't access the ODBC Administrator through Sybase Central
(error message is "Could not open the ODBC Source
Administrator. CreateProcess: odbcad32.exe error=740") We
are able to successfully access the ODBC Administrator
through Windows Administrative Tools so it seems to be
related to the Sybase install. Is there a known conflict
with SQL 10 and the ODBC Administrator? Everything else
seems to be working fine. Thanks for your help.

Jon,

SQL Anywhere 10.0.1 supports Windows 7 with EBF #3960 or higher. Please upgrade to EBF #3960 or
higher to get the required Windows 7 support for SA 10.0.1.

I suspect upgrading to EBF #3960 will resolve the problem. Please let us know if it doesn't.
