Default Lost Chars - Proxy access to SQL Any 5.5 from SQL Any 11 - 01-29-2010 , 06:15 AM

Hello,

I have a very strange behaviour and I need help before asking
sybase-support.

I have a SQL Anywhere 5.5 Database which I want to migrate to Version 11.
For that I made a new 11-DB with similar structure and I want to copy the
data from 5.5 to 11 with proxy tables.

Bute when I select data from the 5.5 proxy via ODBC, there are some chars
missing. It seems as if in a char(255) field in each record the char number
130 is missing.

Very strange.

This doesn not happen, if I use a source a Version 9 or Version 11-DB

Can anybody help or do I have to call sybase-support

Thomas
