Are you running PB desktop? PB Desktop will only connect using the drivers
that it supplies. If so, upgrade to a later maintenance release (8.0.2 I
think) where ASA9 support gets introduced. If you are not running desktop,
can you see the driver in the ODBC administrator?

I have Powerbuilder 8 using ASA 7. I want to use ASA 9. I downloaded the
dev edition and installed it. I used the ASA 9 to create a new database.
I CANNOT connect to the ASA 9 databases from Powerbuilder 8 database
screens.
I see the datasource names for all databases except ASA 9. Because of
that, I cannot create a profile. I thought ASA 9 is supposed to integrate
with Powerbuilder.
What do I need to do?
