The database console window will say something along the lines of:

"Performance warning: Database file "<database.db>" consists of <#> disk
fragments"

You can then run Disk Defragmenter, Contig (
http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/s.../bb897428.aspx ), or
another third-party disk defragmenting utility to solve this.

*Note: This is usually a very small performance issue in most cases.
