Default Found duplicate or partial transaction logs and file name - 11-06-2009 , 11:19 AM

Hello all,
I am getting the following error above, but all my logs starting and
ending offsets are okay and the only thing from Sybase talks about
this error tells is to check the offsets and if they are okay contact
support. Is there not another method to truncate a log or reset the
offset without losing log data or have it ignore. Using Sybase 8 and
not seeing any other methods on how to proceed. Any ideas or a place
to point me?
Thanks.

Lucky FIX. I noticed that this client had log files for 5 years with
of daily logs. I deleted all the old logs except the ones needed from
5 days ago and everything was fine. Not sure of the # of logs was the
problem or if the offset value resets or recycles and an old log just
happen to have the same values as the new ones or what, but this fixed
the problem. As they say sometimes its better to be lucky than good.
