Hi,
I´m trying to start dbeng9.exe on Windows 2003/64 bit on AMD, but I
got an error message "dbeng9.exe is valid but for another Computer
type". What´s wrong? Installation CD is SQL Anywhere Studio 9.0.2
(Build 2451) for Windows 64-bit. Also if I try to install EBF 3886,
the instal program cannot find installed software?!

Mike,

With ASA 9.0.2 there were two different 64 bit versions, x64 and IA64.
If you choose the wrong architecture type you would see an error similar
to what you are seeing.

You should check to make sure you have selected the appropriate EBF for
your architecture type.

It sounds like your original CD is for Windows 64 bit Itanium.

Do you have access to SPDC (https://sybase.subscribenet.com/)?
You can download software from here, if so you could download the
Windows 64 bit (x64) download as it sounds like this is what you need.

It may also be a good idea to contact your sales rep to discuss getting
the correct software if need be.
