Default ERROR 08001 - Database Server Not Found - 09-22-2009 , 07:13 AM

I'm having a problem connecting to a sybase10 database.

We have a 3rd party application built in C# connecting to a Sybase 10
database. The connection string I'm using is
<ConnectionString>Driver=SQL Anywhere
10;DSN=PixelSQLbase;uid=test;pwd=test</ConnectionString>

The exception I get is ERROR [08001][Sybase][ODBC Driver][SQL Anywhere]
Database server not found.

We started experiencing the problem after an upgrade to sybase 10; the
application was running fine with syabase 5.0

Any ideas?

How do you start your database engine?
What are the contents of the PixelSQLbase DSN?
How did you upgrade to v10? Did you also upgrade the database file
using dbupgrad?
