Hi, i wann to use the odbc-driver to connect to the database-server on several clients. Also on 1 client i want to use several tools (sybase central, interactive sql, dbbackup etc.). So... i can use the deployment-tool (with SA 11) or the install-shield-scripts (with ASA 9). But... what happens if i install an EBF on the server... do i have to update the clients or will they works without installing the EBF? regards Ingmar |

In general it is fine to have a newer server than the clients, but not the other way around. So this should be fine.
