Hi, I don't know if this is exactly the best group to post this in but it seemed like it. I'm trying to get some validation from some Sybase techs as well as others that might be using dbsrv10. Can you use a combination of startup options specifically to control the cache settings? Specifically, can I use the -c and -ch command line options together? It seems to me I should be able to control both the initial cache value which I understand to be -c as well as the max cache value which I believe to be -ch. Sorry if this is a silly question but I couldn't find an example in the sybase docs that combined these startup options. I have an app support team telling me it can not be done. I'm new to supporting SQLAnywhere for our operations team but trying to read up and confirm some of our setting choices. And at present don't have a dev environment to try these settings myself. Any help is very appreciated. |

Hylon, Yes, you can use the -c and -ch switches in combination. |
