Hello,

We have been using dbShrink and dbExpand to
compress/decompress the database. After we upgrade from
9.0.2 to 11.0.1, these two commands are not available any
more.

Do you have any other commands in Sybase SQL anywhere
V11.0.1 in order to compress/decompress database?

Any suggestions are appreciated.

Other than winzip/winrar?

As you know we no longer support compressed databases.
We also no longer support write (.WRT) files so running
with full database compressed files is not an option either.

Compressing LOB data is always an application option
though ... You can do that with a client-side library/function
of your choice ... You can also do that on the server using
the COMPRESS/DECOMPRESS functions ...
