Hi,

We are using the follwing version of Sybase ASA

When tried to delete data from one of table containing
2049845 rows of data, DB server is getting killed.
Observed the following error in the db.log file

[SNIP]--------------------------------------------------------------------
I. 12/08 06:53:26. Cache size adjusted to 1577336K
I. 12/08 06:54:26. OS Available: 2158712K, Working Set: 1581464K, Cache
Target:
1967198K
I. 12/08 06:54:27. Cache size adjusted to 1967200K
E. 12/08 06:55:17. Fatal error: I/O error

Can someone help us on this in resolving the problem.

A delete of that many rows is going to require a large rollback log. You
may find that you are running out of disk space in the directory where we
maintain our temp files. Can you run this again and monitor disk usage
while it is working?
