Default .db file interchangeability - 12-16-2003 , 10:39 AM

Are ASA 8.0.2.3601 and 8.01.2600 .db files interchangeable? That is, can an
8.0.2.3601 .db file be read without modification by an 8.01.2600 db engine,
and vice-versa? TIA ...Bill

An ASA8.0.2 db file will not run on an ASA8.0.1 or earlier database engine.
ASA8.0.02 introduced clustered index support which requires changes in the
database file and those changes can only run on an ASA8.0.2 or later engine.
