Hi

I'm trying to install sql anywhere in my ubuntu 8.04 64 bit
machine, but following error stops me when runs the setup
files

here is the error

#./setup

checking system requirement
setup: 6520: dbinstall: not found

Please help me to overcome

Hi Darshana,

Ubuntu doesn't include 32-bit libraries by default with their 64-bit OS.
Our installer is a 32-bit binary so it can't run without a couple extra
packages. Try the following:

$ sudo apt-get install ia32-libs ia32-libs-gtk

Let me know if you are still having problems.
