I am getting the dreaded:

*** ERROR *** Assertion failed: 201129 (9.0.2.3439)
File is shorter than expected

I can't get a service to even start on it in order to do a dbvalid.
The big problem is that this is happening on all of their backups back
for one month even though they've been able to use the database for
the last month.

Any ideas,
