Default Assertion 57017 - 12-10-2003 , 02:36 AM

Hi,

we had a database crash on a 5.5.0.4 Server, now when I try
to run a validate on the database I get the following Error
message:
"internal database Error Assertion failed : 57017
Invalid count or free space offset -- transaction rolled
back"

Now my question, is there any way to recover the database or
is the file corrupt.

Thanks
Hans

The file is corrupt. When you get an assertion during validation, you should
always engage to your recovery plan.
