Default ASA9 EBF 1250 questions - 12-09-2003 , 02:11 AM

After installing ASA9 EBF 1250, I've noticed a couple of strange things:

1) on my PC, ASA folder does not reside in the root of the Start Menu, but
rather inside "Sybase" folder. After EBF install, an "SQL Anywhere 9" folder has
been created in the root of the Start Menu, with the only shortcut "Sample
Applications and Projects" inside;
2) before EBF, fast launch was disabled both for Scjview and Dbisqlg. Now it is
re-enabled again.

Has anyone experienced something similar? Are these symptoms bugs, or just
features I've misunderstood?

OS is Win98 SE Pan-European.

Dmitri.

1) As a matter of fact I have just done this (except with the latest ebf)
and i did not see this behaviour. Anyone else seen this? I am using XP
though, not 98. Somewhat related: Have you seen Microsoft's notice about
ending windows 98 support?

2) Yes, you are correct. We will look at it.
