Default ASA 9 UTF8 and LATIN1252 - 05-02-2006 , 02:49 AM

Today I tried to start two database. One with code page 1252 and the
other utf8. The dbsrv9 runs as a service.

Chinese is not displayed correctly. No I wonder if it is possible to
start two database with different code pages on one engine.

Thanks
Eric

There should be no conflict. Have you verified that the Chinese
characters display correctly when hosted on the same machine but on an
engine with only that database? This will help to focus the diagnostic
effort.

Found that support for Asian characters was not installed on this machine.

Installing them solved the problem.
