See http://www.sybase.com/detail?id=1023009 for details of supported
platforms for that version - Win2008 was not one. The first version to
support Win2008 is SA10.

Thanks Chris , i knew this matrix was existing, couldnt find
it anymore.

Changing PB8 => PB10 means also upgrading my PB 8.0 if i am
not mistaken ?

TIA

You do not need to upgrade your client application to move to SA10. In
fact, you can continue to use the ASA8 odbc client until you are ready
to upgrade your client side. If you do what to use PB8 with SA10 or
later, you will need to add SQL Anywhere 10 to the PB ODBC ini file to
get access to the new datatypes supported in SA10 and later as well as
being able to have autoincrement keys updated in the datawindow after a
save. There should be posts in the PB forum that outlines these changes.

Chris,

So i can buy the new ASA10, install it on my dev pc and my
client app made in PB8.0 should still connect using the ASA
8 ODBC files ? I am (for the moment) not at all interested
in the new functions of ASA 10. Just want to bring this new
prospect in...

TIA
JVL
