Please could anybody here clarify ODBC issues of 32-bit and 64-bit systems? I have the following problems: I have upgraded my dev machine to 64-bit Vista. I develop a .NET app with SQL Any 11 as backend. No connections are possible! I have configured ODBC datasources using 64-bit ODBC Administrator. But these datasource seem not to be visible either from the web app nor Sybase Central. When I try do create a new ODBC datasource using 32-bit ODBC administrator an error message pops up: 'Could not load: dbcon11.dll' I also run ASA 9 on the same machine. I can sucessfully create ASA 9 ODBC datasource using the 32-bit administrator. So please what is wrong here? Any path problems or why is it not possible to create ASA 11 datasources with the 32-bit ODBC Administrator. Why are datasources created with the 64-bit administrator not visible neither in Central nor in .NET Web Applications??? Any help to resolve these confusing things would be greatly apreciated. Tom |
