Hi,

I've installed Sybase ASE 15.05.00.1000 on two Windows box. One
running Windows Server 2003 and the other one running Windows Server
2008.

I've done a common installation and didn't modify settings. I've
created a database and a user.

My problem come next.

I was unable to set up a working ODBC Data Source with the client
targeting the server on the same host !

Computer1 : WinServer 2003
Computer2 : WinServer 2008

DSN :
Client : Computer1
Server : Computer1
--> This is NOT working ("client unable to establish a connection"
error)

Client : Computer1
Server : Computer2
--> This IS working !

Client : Computer2
Server : Computer2
--> This is NOT working ("client unable to establish a connection"
error)

Client : Computer2
Server : Computer1
--> This IS working !

And I've tried with user I've created and user "as". Same behaviour
than above.

So I'm wondering if there is a way to have an ODBC log on Windows ?
