Hi.

After a dump, I could not execute another one.
I decided to restart de backup service, but it faild.
I'm getting the following massage:

Could not start the Sybase BCKServer_SMPROD_DS_BD service on Local
Comouter.
Error 1067: The process terminated unexpectedly.

I tried do start manually using the same command line of the service:

d:\sybase\ASE-12_5\bin\bcksrvr.exe -SSMPROD_DS_BS -R

and got this:

D:\sybase\ASE-12_5\bin>bcksrvr.exe -SSMPROD_DS_BS -R
Usage - bcksrvr.exe [-C] [-S] [-I] [-v] [-e] [-M] [-N] [-T] [-L] [-J]
[-c]
[-D]
[-A] [-s] [-P] [-V] [-p] [-m] [-b]

D:\sybase\ASE-12_5\bin>


I realize that the -R parameter in the comand line is not in the list
above, but I have other server
with the same caracteristics and the backup service works just fine
with similar comand line.

I'm using Windows 2003 STD server and Sybase 12.5.03

What should I look for? Really need help.
