When I try to install ASE I received the following message:

/opt/sybpwrd1/ASE-12_5/bin/dataserver: error while loading
shared libraries: libibmc++.so.1: cannot open shared object
file: No such file or directory

We have to install IBM Visual Age first (see Release
Bulletin - pg 8) and include the path where the lib was
installed in the variable LD_LIBRARY_PATH.
