HW to install ASE 15.5 -

plz tel me, * * i trying to install ASE 15.5 new version( ase155_linuxx86-64 i downloaded it from sybase site) in my PC .when i enter the cmd from $sybase/ASE-15_0/bin file i.e *./srvbuild , i m getting error as cannot execute binary files *and also i trying to build server through using resourse file then also i getting bash: srvbuildres : cmd not found. ( i used same steps as *ASE 15.0 ) Inside ase155_linuxx86-64, we can see archives , ASE ThirdPartyLegal.pdf and set.bin ) |

2) using another ase155_linuxx86 file
when i try to build the ASE15.5 from ase155_linuxx86 file
i.e . ./setup.bin
i will get this type of msg
[sample@lab1 ase155_linuxx86]$ ./setup.bin

bit version of ASE (it should not have _64 in the name).

You must download the 32 bit version of ASE (it should not have _64 in the name). Michael |
