We are experimenting with using the Archive database functionality in
ASE 15... The DB we are working with is over 950GB in size. We created
the archive and scratch DBs and started the load.. It took over 9
hours to FAIL the load due to log space in the scratch db. We are
using compression on the dumps.

Should we expect it to take that long or are we doing something
stupid?

That would basically make it a complete waste of effort. We can reload
the entire DB in 3-4 hours...
