Default SQLXML Managed Classes - 05-21-2005 , 04:27 AM

Hi folks

SQLXML 3.0 SP2 documentation says that SQLXML Managed Classes require the
..net framework RTM to be installed before installing SQLXML.

This might sound like a stupid question, but

1 what is the .net framework RTM?
2 how can I tell if I have it?

Hope somebody can help

Thanks in advance

Kind regards

Ross Petersen

The .NET Framework is the runtime environment for .NET (managed) code. Start
here for more info - http://www.microsoft.com/Net/Basics.aspx.

Cheers,
Graeme

Hi,

Check out the information at http://msdn.microsoft.com/vstudio/ on how to
install VS.NET.
You can verify if it's installed by looking in ControlPanel/ Add/Remove
Programs.

Thanks,

Though bear in mind you only need the .NET Framework, you don't actually
need Visual Studio.
