I am unable to start SQL Server 2005 integration services on my database
server.

Listed below is the error I received when trying to start SQL Server 2005
integration services.

Please help me resolve this issue.

The SQL Server Integration Services service failed to start due to the
following error:
The service did not respond to the start or control request in a timely
fashion. Name: The service or driver failed to start.

Timeout (30000 milliseconds) waiting for the SQL Server Integration Services
service to connect.

Can you check event viewer for more errors?
Can you change the service account to Local system and then give a try to
start the service.

Go to Control Panel, System and Maintenance, Administrative tools, Click
Services, make sure Integration Sql Service started. In my Sql Server Ent
2008 it is Sql Server Integration Services 10.

You can also check the SQL Server Configuration Manager. From the Start
Menu, go to All Program, Microsoft SQL Server, Configuration Tools, SQL
Server Configuration Manager. Check the settings there.
